Meeting at Student Homes

Werequire a responsible adult known to the student be at home during in-home lessons (for students under age 18). Over the years we have found that it provides an element of comfort to both student and teacher. It is for the safety of both.

The responsible adult may be one of the parents or grandparents or an older sibling. The adult, however, is not required to be in the same room; somewhere within earshot is fine.

We also require that the in-home meeting place not be in a bedroom even if the student's desk, computer, etc. is located there.

Meeting location options may include student home, school, parent's office, or public or university library,

                but not the teacher's home.

Please have your child ready ten minutes before to ten minutes after the meeting time, as traffic and weather can vary.
