For the most part, we are teachers working after our classes end for the day, or during summer. In some cases we have taken a few years off from full time teaching to have a baby, and in some cases we may have retired.

We work one-to-one after school because we enjoy helping kids get ahead and we know how much difference it makes to have the personal attention.

Our minimum degree requirement to apply to the guild is a BA or BS plus either a graduate degree or state certification. (Most of us have all three.)

Some of us teach elementary school, some teach higher grades, and a half dozen of us teach in various universities.

Our management staff is also made up of teachers.

None of the teachers are just names on a list. All are fully active in the tutoring and went through an extensive screening process and have made a commitment to excellence in tutoring. The management staff and teachers know each other and are in continuous contact. Most of the teachers have been tutoring with us for years. Most are also parents too.
